Progress Monitoring is a crucial element of every IEP. The latest Supreme Court ruling upheld the importance of ensuring IEP’s reflect the progress being made towards positive outcomes. More time should be given to reporting student’s progress on a regular basis. Our IEP’s are not always adequate in documenting student’s progress. This presentation will illustrate different methods of reporting student’s progress that will help both teachers and parents fully understand the relationship between goals and objectives and student’s progress.
