Co-Teaching is an intricate process that challenges the most distinguished professionals in the areas of collaborative planning, instruction, assessing, and managing the co-taught classroom. This workshop will detail the differing approaches to co-teaching methods, the types of student serviced in the co-teaching setting, designing the right dynamics for success, developing an environment to facilitate a healthy co-teaching environment and setting appropriate goals to achieve student performance. This workshop will allow you to share the successes and challenges you are having as, or with, co-teachers. Share your successful strategies with your colleagues and reflect on your practice in the context of the Marilyn Friend Framework for Effective Co-Teaching.
