ALC hosts 2 state-wide conferences, as well as multiple workshops hosted in our 6 regions. Newsletters and the Learning Consultant’s Journal are included in membership.
Information & Resources:
ALC provides a bimonthly newsletter, a website and social media posts regarding upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and special education updates. In addition, links are provided to other relevant organizations and websites of interest. Job openings for LDTC’s are also listed.
Advocacy & Support:
ALC partners with our School Social Workers and School Psychologists to share information, exchange ideas and support our common interests. This includes current legislation, common practices, changes in Code, and new legal cases which impact our students and our CST colleagues.
Networking:
ALC provides a setting for LDTC’s to meet and network with LDTC’s from throughout the state as well as other professionals in our field. In addition, a members-only directory allows members to share contact information with colleagues in public schools and private practice.
